Ireland is one of the countries most dependant on imported energy in Europe, yet we have vast untapped sources of energy blowing over the country and flowing round our coasts in the form of wind and wave. To us at Nordeal this seems crazy. As a company we are still too small to get involved in wave power but are ideally situated to supply and install small wind turbines. To this end we have searched the market and found a relatively new product manufactured by Future Energy in England. This turbine is well constructed from a relatively small number of parts, using a very simple concept. To paraphrase Einstein "Keep everything as simple as possible but no simpler" and that fits well with our philosophy.
We strongly suggest that before a turbine is purchased, a survey should be carried out to assess the wind conditions and optimum site for the turbine. To this end, we can supply a range of anemometers which are suitable for this task. The price for these units starts at €90.00 for a simple pole mounted version. Feel free to contact Tony Langton at any time for further information.
